Matcha Tea
I have recently discovered this amazing tea. If you like green tea or the benefits of green tea, then try it now. It's unbelievable. So what is matcha tea? It's super concentrated green tea which is full of nutrients and antioxidents, much more than average green tea. It is ground into a powder so you only need the tiniest amount. It boosts your metabolism and energises you, which can last up to 6 hours. It has been drunk in Japan by Buddhist monks for centuries as a ceremonial beverage and if you are lucky enough, you can see it made in the traditional way. There are a number of ways that this can be consumed, ranging from a shot of hot tea, a matcha latte or sprinkled on your food. So all I can advise is get out there and give it a try. I did and now I'm hooked.

Cellulite Busting and detoxing Summer Offer
Summer’s almost here and the weather’s getting warmer, so it’s time to start preparing yourself to get your legs out. Why not think about a pre-summer cellulite busting, detoxing massage treatment? Our current offer focuses on this specifically- it will help to reduce cellulite, tone muscles and detox the skin, making you beautiful and smooth, just in time for summer.
The treatment will incorporate body brushing, a cupping massage of legs, hips, bums and tums (subject to requirements) and finishing with a honey application. The combination of these techniques will exfoliate dead skin, drain the lymphatic and circulatory system of toxins, contour the body, tone the muscles and help with removal of cellulite. The essential oils will reduce fluid retention and stimulate the circulatory system and the honey will also help to moisturise and soften your skin.
For a short time only, this whole treatment is on offer for only £30. It lasts approximately 1 hour. Book now to avoid disappointment.

Facial treatments
I have recently completed a course in Skin Care and Facials and am looking forward to starting to add this therapy to my business. You always learn interesting points when you train in a new therapy and it's exciting going back to college and learning new skills and information. For example, did you know that skin is classed as 'mature' once you are over 25 years old? So you haven't got as long as you think before being labelled as old! And howmany of you actually cleanse, tone and moisturise every day, let alone twice a day as you should? Not to mention exfoliation and face masks! Your skin really needs looking after, all with suitable products for your skin type. Do you really know what skin type you have? Many of us would think 'normal' but actually very few people have 'normal' skin and they tend to be youngsters. This is only a little snippet of information that I have learnt but it's helped me along the way. My facials will be operating soon and they will be tailored specifically for your skin. Keep an eye out for further info or check out my wesite.

Sports and Remedial Massage Introductory Offer
Love Holistic Therapies is now offering Sports and Remedial Massage as available treatments. What is a Sports Massage I hear you ask? Sports massage is a deeper form of massage that can be given before, during and after sporting events, as well as a general maintenance massage to promote peak fitness. It is effective for releasing muscle tension and restoring balance to the muscular-skeletal system. Regular massage can help athletes to prevent injuries, especially from overuse. It can release the stress and accumulation of tension on the joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles, especially as the treatment will focus on both the origins and insertions of the muscles.
So what is Remedial Massage? Remedial massage is part of sports massage therapy where the focus is on one particular problem area or injury using deep tissue massage. Rather than receiving a full body treatment, massage and manipulation will be focused on one area, stretching and working the muscle fibres or scar tissue. It helps to deal with pain, speed up healing and remove lesions. To help with the healing, audio sonic treatment may be given, which involves the use of soundwaves to penetrate the tissues that are inaccessible to conventional manipulative techniques.
Anyone can receive a Sports/ Remedial massage, not just athletes. It will benefit everyone and can also help with common conditions, such as frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, back pain, rotator cuff, carpal tunnel syndrome, runners' problems and many more.
As an introductory offer, and for a limited time only I am offering this treatment for £30. So try it whilst it's cheap!
